Responsibilities:
1. Promote WSB Programs: Develop and implement marketing strategies to effectively promote WSB programs and initiatives to target audiences, including individuals with visual impairments, donors, sponsors, and the broader community.
2. Social Media Content Creation: Serve as the primary content creator for WSB's social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, X, Instagram, Ticktock, LinkedIn). Generate engaging and compelling content, including posts, stories, and multimedia assets, to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth.
3. Video and Photo Production: Conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit high-quality videos and photos that showcase the impact of WSB's programs, success stories of beneficiaries, events, and other relevant content. Collaborate with team members and external partners as needed to produce professional multimedia content.
4. Content Writing: Write informative, persuasive, and captivating content for WSB's newsletters, website, blog posts, press releases, and other communication channels. Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all written materials.
5. Community Engagement: Engage with WSB's community through online platforms, forums, and events to foster meaningful connections, gather feedback, and address inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
6. Analytics and Reporting: Monitor the performance of marketing campaigns, social media activities, and content engagement metrics. Analyze data insights to refine strategies, optimize content, and improve overall effectiveness.
7. Collaboration and Support: Collaborate closely with the Development Director, Director of Education, instructors, and other internal stakeholders to align marketing efforts with organizational goals and priorities. Provide support for special events, fundraising campaigns, and other marketing initiatives as needed.
8. Stay Updated: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing, social media, and content creation. Continuously seek opportunities to innovate and improve WSB's marketing efforts.
